- Der arbejdes på at digitalisere på Avid xpressPro 5.2.4 i hdv1080i50 mxf

Bringing hdv media in Avid Nitris
- (For this example an Avid Xpress Pro hd 5.2 was used)
1. Start a project in Avid Xpress Pro hd in hdv format hdv1080i50.
2. Capture hdv media from Camera or Deck.
3. Create a sequence and edit.
4. Open a new project in the same frame rate 1920*1080i50.
5. Open the hdv bin from first project.
6. Copy sequences and/or masterclips in a new bin.
7. Select sequences and/or masterclips.
8. In Bin menu select Consolidate/Transcode.
9. Select Transcode.
10. Transcode to dnxhd 185.
11. Select audio conversion to mxf.
For Avid DS relink:
1. Output the new sequences and/or Masterclip as afe in Avid Xpress Pro hd.
2. Copy the new dnxhd mxf media in a new Avid MediaFiles folder on the Avid ds storage Array
videostorage/Avid MediaFiles/MXF/1/ storage folder.
3. Open Avid DS with a new sequence in the same format as Xpress Pro HD
4. Configure the storage to add a read only storage to the path of the DNxHD MXF folder.
5. Open the AFE in a Avid DS explorer bin.
6. Drag the sequence or masterclips on the timeline.
For the Avid Symphony relink:
1. Copy the new DNxHD MXF media in the Avid Symphony Avid MediaFiles storage folder.
2. Open the Avid Xpress Pro HD bins in a same format rate in Avid Symphony.
Tidstest.
- Det tager ca. 3-4 timer at loade en dokumentarfilm på 30min (10 bånd)
- Det tager ca. 2 timer at transcode hdv native filerne til dnxhd185
Final Cut der er problemmer....
- Derfor har vi et finalcut pro anlæg med automaticduck avid omf2 import modul.
- Export omf2 timeline fra Avid Xpress Pro Klipperum.
- Import via automaticduck i et Finalcut projekt.
- Batchdigitaliser alt HDV materiale native.
- Exporter hele sequensen til DS som unkompressed 4:2:2 quicktime via firewire disk.
